Mail/Parcel/Package forwarding from the USA: No sales tax

Shipito has several warehouses in the USA. It allows you to use mail/parcel/package forwarding service. This is very helpful when making purchases in the US online shops that ship to the USA locations only. The only problem is that in some cases even if you plan to ship overseas, you will still have to pay the Californian sales tax (which is almost 10%) when shipping to the warehouses of Shipito in Torrance, California. That’s when other Shipito warehouses come in handy.

Oregon doesn’t have sales tax!
Shipito has a warehouse in Tualatin, Oregon. Any purchase shipped to Oregon is not charged sales tax. So you can make your USA purchases and don’t pay any sales tax. After Shipito gets the package/parcel, they can ship to you anywhere in the world.

• Re-mailing service by FedEx. Package can be send to your country or to Torrance warehouse.
• No consolidation or USPS at this location. You can have the package sent to Torrance for consolidation.
• Shipito Truck transport to Torrance starting at $1 per pound. It might take about week to transport the package.

Portland, Oregon shipping location operational hours are 9AM to 5PM Monday through Friday.

Note that Shipping is 10% more expensive compared to Torrance locations. Shipito cost to serve Oregon location is higher. You save on sales tax, but you pay little bit more on shipping. Make your choice.

• Torrance, CA : All shipping methods available. Consolidation available. Do not use for shipping pallets or huge packages. Rather use 190th street warehouse.
• Torrance II, CA: All shipping methods available. Consolidation available. Loading dock available for bigger packages and pallets.
• Hawthorne, CA: Regular location, consolidation and special requests available
• Tualatin, OR: Full service location. Consolidation available. Most shipping methods available. No sales tax in Oregon!
• Minden, NV: Location with the biggest mailbox (4 times bigger than in California). Full service location. Consolidation available. Most shipping methods available. Nevada is a smaller state than California so there is better probability that sales tax will be not charged. Shipping using Austria Postal service and FedEx.
• Austria (Europe): Regular location, consolidation and special requests available
• Portland, OR: Location without sales tax! No USPS shipping and no consolidation. You can ship package to Torrance warehouse or to you by FedEx.
• Las Vegas, NV : No USPS shipping and no consolidation. You can ship package to Torrance warehouse or to you by FedEx.
• Japan, JP : Shipito location in Sasebo Nagasaki, Japan. Only Assisted Purchases are available.
• Hong Kong, NT: Full service Shipito location in Hong Kong.
• China, SZ : Full service Shipito location in China. Will be closed in 2012. The last day to receive packages in China location will be August 31, 2012.

Note that shipping is 10% more expensive from Oregon compared to California warehouses, but you save on sales tax (Oregon doesn’t have any sales tax).
